Supination

Insufficient inward rolling motion of the foot during walking or running

What Does This Mean?

Supination, also known as underpronation, occurs when the foot fails to roll inward enough during the gait cycle, resulting in reduced shock absorption and potential issues with stability and cushioning. It can contribute to injuries such as stress fractures.
