What Does This Mean?

Running economy is a measure of how efficiently a runner uses oxygen and energy to maintain a given pace. It is influenced by factors such as biomechanics, muscle fiber type, aerobic capacity, and training history and can be improved through targeted training interventions such as strength training, plyometrics, and form drills.
